ANZAC day

Who was killed at ANZAC cove?

From the time the ANZACs arrived in Gallipoli in April until the time the 260-day campaign ended, it is believed that 8709 Australians had been killed, although this figure varies, according to different sources. Of these, an estimated 700 died from disease alone.

In addition, there were 2721 New Zealand soldiers killed at Gallipoli, 33 072 British fatalities (from all forces, not just the army) and approximately 10,000 French.

It is estimated that 87,000 Turkish soldiers died at Anzac Cove.

Senes Poem

Tree climbing looks like a big tower and when you come back down it looks freaky because it feels like you are gliding down and flying, its a bit like rockclimbing. It sounds like the bark braking and scratching and people encoureging, and people yelling from other places. It smells like sweaty hands and the freash cool air going by you when your up the top.It taste like free trust and challeng. It fells like lots of corners you have to touch and you fell proud of your self,I had lots of fun.
