my speech

I did my speech but I was a bit shy. In the middle I got mucked up but then I got it. At the end everyone clapped because they liked my speech, it was about cats.My family loves cats especially my sister she loves cats very much.My sister has a cat called Softy and Cookie but Cookie is not just hers. Cookie is Awhina and Victoria's too. But Awhina and Victoria can't keep Cookie so we have to look after him.

Book Fair

We had a book fair at school all the books looked cool. All of the prices were high so I didn't get a book. When teachers came round to our class they read stories and the pictures in the books looked cool. My favourite book is Cat in the Hat because when the Cat comes inside the house it is funny when he messes it up.

Swimming Goal

My swimming goal this term is to make a starfish on my back and tummy.

Statistics

It was fun doing maths. We did tally charts for maths on the courts we had to buddy up with somebody. Some one had to write a number and some one had to put the tally down. And then we had to go in side. We did our own investigations, first we did a tally chart then we got a good copy.We were grafing how many things there was.It was fun doing it.I wonder why we had to do it? We had to write about what got the most votes.

I am looking forward to getting better at my maths.
My goal for this term is to sit on the mat and listen to the teacher.

Term 4 Reading Goal

My reading goal is to get up to Level 21 on my reading rocket. I am going to achieve this by asking my mum to help listen to me read and ask qustions about the story.
